Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I’m asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, ten, they’ll swing back to the belief that they can make people…better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave.
My mom is yelling at my brother and I overheard this.
Mom: GO TO YOUR ROOM
Brother: that's not fair
Mom: DO AS I SAY.
Brother: You never send Lizzie to her room when she's in trouble!!
Mom: Lizzie never leaves her room. If she were in trouble I'd make her sit in the living room or go outside or talk to human beings.
Me: I CAN HEAR YOU.
“I’m so sad with the loss today of the brilliant Kathryn Joosten. She was my friend. And I will miss her. Kathy, her family and I were supposed to have dinner soon. I will miss that we didn’t get to have that dinner. It’s another example of never taking a day for granted. I spoke with her family this afternoon.
